Different widths, same strength.

Signaltape® Underground Warning Tape contains a para-aramid fiber core with a tensile strength of 3,000 lbf, so the strength of the tape is the same whether it is 4, 6, or 12-inches wide.

This is a significant difference between Signaltape® and traditional warning tapes which are composed of extruded plastic causing them to differ in strength based on width.
