Standard legends are pre-approved messages commonly used in underground utility marking. These do not require a signed approval form when used without changes and are available for all Damage Prevention Solutions Products.

Custom warning tape is ideal when you need to convey specific information unique to your site, facility, or infrastructure. We can create custom legends that include:
Specific text or layout appearance requirements (e.g., Line 1 “Caution”, Line 2 “Used Fuel Line”, all text at least 1” tall), can also be included in your customizations. If you would like to use a company logo, please provide either a file or link to one to ensure the correct version of your logo is used. Please provide a high-resolution (CMYK) copy of your logo, or ideally a (CMYK) vector image.
A digital mockup of the custom legend will be provided for your approval before production begins. This ensures accuracy and alignment with your safety and branding standards. Please note that our printing process cannot begin without a signed legend approval form, even if a purchase order has already been issued.
