The Signaltape brand protection systems installation guidelines are recommendations provided to help prevent any problems caused by improper installation. Proper installation of our products is an important factor in assuring that your buried infrastructure enjoys the optimum warning protection offered by our products. Improper installation too deep subsurface may cause improper operation of our product by inhibiting its ability to be drawn to the surface for visibility. There are many details of buried infrastructure installations that are assumed to be general construction knowledge to experienced installers, which are not included in these instructions. All statements, technical information, and recommendations related to our products are based on information believed to be reliable, but the accuracy or completeness is not guaranteed. Before using any Damage Prevention Solutions, LLC’s product, you must evaluate it and determine if it is suitable for your intended application. Recommended Tools: 1. Tape measure; 2. Pistol Grip Dispenser (set of 2); 3. Jonard Cutters; 4. Direct Bury Tracer Wire Connector with Strain Relief (as needed).
Limited Warranty: When installed in accordance with Damage Prevention Solutions, LLC’s installation recommendations and instructions, Damage Prevention Solutions, LLC warrants Signaltape brand products for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase of the product, to be free from defects in material and manufacture, provided Signaltape brand products are installed according to the installation recommendations and instructions of Damage Prevention Solutions, LLC. This warranty does not extend to any Signaltape brand product that has been subjected to misuse, improper application, improper installation actions taken or not taken, improper site preparation, environmental conditions, or that has been repaired or altered by others. EXCEPT FOR THE WARRANTY SET FORTH ABOVE, DAMAGE PREVENTION SOLUTIONS, LLC MAKES NO WARRANTY WHATSOEVER WITH RESPECT TO SIGNALTAPE BRAND PRODUCTS, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED BY LAW, COURSE OF DEALING, COURSE OF PERFORMANCE, USAGE OF TRADE, OR OTHERWISE. If any Signaltape brand product is found to be defective within the warranty period, your exclusive remedy shall be, at Damage Prevention Solutions, LLC’s option, to repair or replace the Signaltape brand product or refund the purchase price. Except where prohibited by law, Damage Prevention Solutions, LLC will not be liable for any direct, indirect, special, incidental or consequential loss or damage arising from any Damage Prevention Solutions, LLC product, regardless of the legal theory asserted.
