The Common Ground Alliance (CGA) has identified a concerning trend: damages to underground utilities are on the rise.
From 2021 to 2022, the number of damages per thousand 811 center transmissions and damages per million dollars of construction spending increased by 9.34% and 12.35%, respectively.
In response to this data, CGA set a bold goal in 2023: to reduce underground utility damages by 50% over the next five years.
This is quite an ambitious target and will only be possible to achieve if everyone in the utility industry works together.
In this webinar session, we will explore some of the challenges our industry is currently facing and discuss how increased collaboration can help us address these issues effectively.
